Easily one of my favorite children's books that focuses on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Martin & Mahalia is a beautiful story that discusses the friendship between Dr. King and legendary Gospel singer, Mahalia Jackson.
This book is so powerful because it reminds you of the importance of words and how they can be shared in a variety of ways. These two American icons both certainly had a way with them.
