My daughter is almost five. I have enjoyed (nearly) every minute of her development. She is most definitely becoming her own person. My wife and I have exposed her to much in the way of music, books, culture, etc. With this exposure, she has developed her own interests, skill sets, and favorites. In addition, there are people she is beginning to admire. The list increases week to week, but it is wonderfully diverse. So, I created a new photo project that focuses on The Inspirations. These are people who are inspiring my daughter, me, or others close to us. These are people who are astronauts and athletes, actors and activists. As part of the project, I will include powerful quotations from these individuals that I hope my daughter will one day come back to for, of course, inspiration. This week will feature five women of color who my daughter adores. Each following week, look for new additions on all BG social media platforms.
